Do 17P 4.(F)/11 27.05.40
 

Hi,

according to two sources a Do 17P of 4.(F)/11 had been attacked in the morning of 27.05.40 over Dunkirk by British fighters and then also hit by flak while escaping inland at low level. Unfortunately nothing could be found in QM. I wonder if somebody could tell more? Perhaps somebody has some additional materials concerning this unit?

Hi Robert

I have found a Do 17 P from 3.(F)/AGr.11. This plane was lost at 27.05.40. The location is unknown, also the cause of the crash.
Crew: 1 missing, 1 prison (later return), BO: Lt Veil prison (later return).
Thats all, what I know.

thanks but I`m aware of this loss. It had been shot down at 07.05 a.m. by GCII/3 in different area.
