Mitchell FL164

Hi everybody,
need some assistance,
Is anyone able to shed some light on the crew and its fate of the following crash:
24th Oct 1943 North Sea. After losing Fin and Rudder RAF B-25
Mitch
ell C,US serial # 41-12604, as RAF # FL164 Flying with 226 Sqn, crashed into the sea. Pilot presumely F/O J.H.L.German.

I have tried to get verification but untill now unsuccesfull.
Can it be that one or two of the facts are not correct?
The rest of the crew? and their fate?
Any response wellcomed

Re: Mitchell FL164

Using the Sqdn and Date in Geoff's Search Engine, the 3 crew appear to be:
EVANS J 1025084 226 SQDN 24/10/1943 ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE
GERMAN JHL 130531 226 SQDN 24/10/1943 ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE
WITT AG 52014 226 SQDN 24/10/1943 ROYAL AIR FORCE
All commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial

Trust that helps....
