Hello , I new to this forum and this is my first post , I hope that somebody can help me with my following request . I am looking for a list of members from KG 40 who were awarded the Knights Cross or higher during the war , thank you .

Presume you are after I & III/KG 40 names to which you can add Hanns Heise and Martin Vetter, both of whom flew with KG 40 but got the RK with other Geschwader

Many thanks for all the help gentlemen , it is exactly what I am looking for .I am posting a signed photo of a Luftwaffe Knights Cross Holder from my collection that I got many years ago , sadly I had a house fire last year and I lost alot of my collection and details of some of my photo collection . I believe this man served in KG 40 , can anybody name him for me please ? You can click on the photos for better details , thanks.

Schmitter was with 4/KG 40-II/KG 40 after it convereted to Me 410 became V/KG 2
