Spitfire 8 shot down P-47 24 March 1944

Hi guys

Firstly, Happy New Year to one and all!

On 24 March 1944, north of Rome, a Spitfire 8 shot down a P-47 of 66thFS/57thFG in mistake for a FW190.

Any idea which squadron the Spitfire came from?
