P-40 shot down 1942?
Hi guys I saw this on a website. Perhaps one of our American friends can enlighten me, please? "Writer Curt Norris has been researching a 1942 World War II incident for the past fifty years. American pilots shot down a P-40 with outdated markings, thinking it was flown by a Japanese. It was actually being flown by an American try to escape the Japanese-held island of Mindanao." In anticipation Cheers Brian |
