Re: Lancaster PB-347 106 Squadron

Hello,

Lancaster PB 359, 106 Squadron shot down by a night fighter. The source is the Report on Loss of Aircraft on operations, Report.No. K.285. I think, PB-347 was also a victim of a night fighter. In this night NJG 1, II./and IV. Gruppe and II./NJG 2 and I./NJG 11 had victories about Lancaster.

Michel, realize that the times in Chorley are often guesstimates and not 100% accurate. Are you planning to do any digging at the site? I am about 40 minutes south of the crash-site. Danny
