Der Adler magazine no. 13 - june 1943
 

Hi,

I am looking for a picture of 2x Bf109 from 8./JG1 (black 5 flown by Alfred Miksch) which I assume were pictured in the Der Adler no. 13 - june 1943. But I am not 100% sure.

The picture was taken at airfield Leeuwarden in the Netherlands.

Can someone help me out?

I only have profiles of Black 20.

Photos of Black 5 can be found in at least two other publications, namely:

Mombeek, Defenders of the Reich, JG 1, Vol.2 (Classic, 2002) (pg. 164)

Prien & Rodeike, Jagdgeschwader 1 und 11, Band 1 (Struve 1994) (pg.395)

I have already those 2 reference books.

But I especially would like to see the copy of the Adler magazine in which "black 20" and / or "black 5" are pictured. Does any one have this specific magazine??

I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks guys...I have found it.

It was pictured in Der Adler from September 1943.
