The author also wrote a book titled American Raiders, which, in my view, was a tribute to Colonel Harold Watson. That book is being compared to this one since it appears to be covering the same ground. American Raiders identifies the key individuals that would locate, capture, learn to fly and help evacuate advanced German jet aircraft, and other types, plus the attempts to get German scientists to the United States before they ended up in Russian hands or the hands of others. This is followed by some test flying experiences in the United States and an evaluation of what the Germans had accomplished and what that meant for the advance of American aviation.
