The aircraft was coded ZN-E if that helps anyone spot a photo in their files.

Hello

I 'am investigate the crash of the Hampden X3184 ZN-E crashed near Ittervoort in the night of 10/11-04-1941 .
I got photo's from the graves from the crewmembers laying on the military cemetery Jonkerbos (nijmegen) .
I know the Hampden crashed this was near the Heerbaan between Ittervoort and Thorn .
Werner Streib form the 1./NJG1from Venlo shot this Bomber down .
Is there a possibility to find out if the hampden was on the way to Düsseldorf or when it was on his way back to Coningsby ??

Regrads

It took off at 2000 and crashed at 2301, 3 hours later. It's pretty safe to say that it was on the way back since the crash site was less than 300 statute miles from Coningsby. Dusseldorf was another 70 miles E and then another 70 miles back to the crash site.
