B-17G 42-37876 - any information

I'm looking for any information of B 17G 42-37876 crashed in the Baltic Sea south of the island of Bornholm 11/4 1944. The aircraft belonged to USAAF, 8 Air Force, 95 Bomb Group, 412 Bomb Squadron and was coded QW-S.
T/O Horsham. OP: Poznan.

MACR 3804 states: B 17G 42-37876 piloted by 2nd Lt Eugene T. Schiappacasse was hit by a T/EE/A from 2 o`clock high using rockets. A/c winged over to the left and climbed a little in control. No fire or damage visible. Ten chutes were seen to leave aircraft at 54`15N 15`00E at 12:18 hours.
Can I trust the position of the accident: 54`15N 15`00E? It's really far, far from Bornholm Island, approx. 10 Nm off Polish coast.

Evening of 4/11/44 a Danish Fisherman found the Body
of Lt. David Janofsky. He was buried at a Catholic Church
in Danish Town of Suaneke , Isle of Bornholm.
His Body later returned to Family in Brooklyn , NY.
In 1948 a German Fisherman , Hans Conradi , netted 2 Bodies ,
one identified as Ralph Murrayat 54' 45'N R15' East.
