Any photos of Herbert Altner ex NJG5
 

Hello to all,

I am searching for a good wartime pic of Leutnant Herbert Altner (NJG5) for an article I am compiling for our website. I met Herbert at Duxford in 1996 when we re-united him with former RAF rear gunner Len Manning who was shot down by Altner in his Lancaster on the 18/19th July 1944. Full credits will be given to anyone who can help supply a photo.

Hi

I don't have any photo's, but I have a full Abschusse liste, if you forward your e.mail address I can pass it on.
Also I have him as Richard Herbert Altner. Don't know if he received the Deutsches kreuz in Gold, probably did in late 1944 or early 1945....certainly deserved it!
