Does anyone have any info on this aircraft, Me109G-6, W. Nr. 411359 from II/JG27? Thanks for the help.

One source says the a/c had a red tail band which would indicate JG 300 or 1. What is your source for JG 27?

Actually my source indicates an error and says JG300. Thanks.

I think JG300 used II./JG27 aircraft that eventually was handed over to JG300 so it's easy to see how mistakes could have occured... Could even explain the red tailband and JG27 association.

Writing from memory though so a doublecheck might be in order...
