SCREWBALL BEURLING

Hi guys

My latest book has just been published in Malta at 16.99 Euros.

SCREWBALL BEURLING

The top Malta fighter ace.

For anyone interested in a signed copy, I will let TOCH members have it for £15.00 post free in UK, for a limited period.

I should take delvery of stock within a week or so.

NB - 102 copies were sold to local enthusiasts in a two-hour signing session at Takali, Malta, last Wednesday!

Cheers
Brian

Shooting down 27 aircraft in just 14 days is the stuff of legend. And, I have to say, highly questionable. Given the (always contentious) issue of claims, just wondering how accurate Screwballs victory claims were? Have each of them been confirmed in the book?

Amazing similarity with another famous Canadian, who claimed 25 kills in just 12 days in WWI.

Hi Jim

Beurling was credited with 27 victories in 14 days of actual combat over a four-month period, not in 14 consecutive days.

Many of his claims can be substantiated.

Why not purchase a copy?

Cheers
Brian

Oh I will Brian, no fear of that. He is a fascinating character, boardering on sociopathic.

Hi:

Can you provide further details about your book? What is the page count? Hard vs Softcover? Photo count with preiously unpublished pictures or perhaps color profiles of his Spitfires? Perhaps a listing of his claims?

Being Canadian, I have an interest in his career.

Mark Proulx
