More 8 August queries....
 
On 8 August Sgt R H B Fraser of 257 Squadron was involved in action over Convoy Peewit in Hurricane P3375 at some time after 12.10. He broke away from this combat and landed at Lee-on-Solent and did not return to Tangmere until 18.40 that evening. Does anyone know why? Slight damage perhaps? Or engine problems?? If he was just out of fuel (unlikely) then it took him a long time to re-fuel!

On the same day, does anyone know who flew Spitfire L1094 of 65 Squadron when it was damaged over Manston area by an Me 109 at 11.55 hrs?

P3375 ? Dont have this in my records. Are you sure its right number, or have i missed a batch.
