Me109-G6 crashed 6 sept 1943 near Strasbourg
 

Hi all,

I would like to learn more about a crashed Me109-G6, crashed on september 6th 1943 about 30 km west of Strasbourg, France (germany at that time), near the little towns of Rosheim/Molsheim.

It would have been a plane of the I/JG50, shot down in airfight over Strasbourg-Rosheim

Which allied unit could have been concerned in airfight?
Who was the german pilot?

was a plane of JGr. 50, pilot bailed unhurt so no name given, bailed near Molsheim.

possibly would that Me109 have been concerned about the bomber attack against Strasbourg in the late morning on that day....
