Information concerning the Loss of Feldwebel Georg Miller - October 1943?
 

Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help me here.

I have included a photo of the sterbebild.

I think it says early October 1943?

Can anyone provide information on him, how he was killed and with what unit?

Hi Rick,

Fw Georg Miller EM 53581/54, DOB 28 Nov 1919 in Günzburg.

From as early as May 1941, Miller flew as BF to Oblt Rudiger Ossmann. Later Ossmann became StKap of 1./ZG1 (redesignated 1./ZG26 in Sep 1943). Both were shot down and KIA in Bf-110G-2 S9+AH W.Nr 120047 20km E of Dümmersee on 8 Oct 1943 in combat with US bombers.

His name is given as Georg Müller in some sources. This is incorrect. I have the EM lists.
