could be a B-17 downed April 13th 1944 (6-7 in that area that day) or some of the several Lancasters or Halifax going down in that area

Hello,
My father was Sgt G Flint who baled out of PB398. I was wondering if the location of the crash site is known or identifiable. One of his friends would like to visit the crash site, thanks in advance, Lawrence
