German plane 22-07-1943

Hello,

I have found a police report of a plane that came down nearby (between Veldhoven en Waalre Holland) on the 22th of Juli 1943.

It apeared to be a german plane and the crew was only slightly injured.

Anyone any idea what plane this could have been?

Ray,

There was a Do 217 M-1, 6052 of 2./KG 2 U5+DK wich came down south of Eindhoven as a result of enigine trouble, flewn by Fw. W.Wetzel (wounded) and Uffz. W.Assmann was Bs and also wounded. No info on the other two. A/c was 60% damaged.
