3/I/JG5 claims over norway 1942
 

Hi,

I am researching an MIA case for No 1 PRU 30 July 1942. The aircraft was a spitfire AA800 flown by F/O JL Tully enroute to Bergen (Norway) last tracked on radar 170 miles from Wick heading to Bergen. I have some unconfirmed information that this aricraft may have been in a contact with a Fw 190 A (or Bf 109 F) from 3/I/JG5 based at Herdla. I am trying to ascetain more details around this claim.
