Russians v. KuFlGr 906
 

Is there anyone out there that can help me identify aircraft involved in an incident on 2 May 1942 (?). Apparently at PI.Qu16 OST/1558 a 1./906 a/c was attacked by a Russian a/c. In the engagement Obgfr. Gunther Weisse (Bf) was wounded. My question is a) which Russian units would have been able to intercept such a flight? (If not, which unit was it) and b) can anyone help me identify the German a/c involved. (Stkz and Wnr.)

I'm guessing that perhaps the Germans were involved in intercepting a convoy. If anyone can help me with this it would be most appreciated.
