Serial no & codes

I'm after the serial no & codes of the Spitfire IX in which F/O JRB Porter, 126 Sqn, claimed (Bf 109 shared dam) on 14/8/44.

F/O John Robert Byron Porter (RAAF) was in Spitfire IX NH406 "V". F/Sgt J D Rae was in Spitfire IX MK993 "D". Me 109 claimed damaged at 1730, 10 m SW of Melun. Sources: Fighter Command Combats and Casualties, 10Sep; CR: Air 50/49-93, 157.

maybe of interest, the 109 was probably from JG11 or JG3.
