Ju88 shot down by Marlets 25/12/40

Hi guys

A Ju88 of 3.(F)/22 fell to two Martlets on Christmas Day 1940 and crash-landed in the Orkneys.

Has anyone combat/local/newspaper reports relating to this?

Brian,Martlet pilots were Lt Rodney Carver (BJ562) and Sub-Lt T. Parke (BJ561).Ju-88 was on mission to Scapa Flow.There's a small pic of the Ju-88 on website http://www.scran.ac.uk/Type Ju88 in the search box. Christmas Eve is also mentioned as date?Regards,Leendert
