World War II Pilots Group

The following link is to a site that has been intermittently offline for several months, but now thankfully is back and stronger that ever. Its a group of outstanding characters who saw service during WWII. Warm and friendly, the photo's of various individuals 'then and now' is poignant. They also possess a very dry sense of humour, as evident in their 'Club Rules" namely:

"Our Group is informal...so there are only two rules:
1. You must have been an Allied or Axis pilot (like USMC Corsair pilot Drury McCall above or USAF pilot Jim Eade, right ) during World War II and show up to lunch once in awhile.

2. If you die at lunch, you get kicked out of the organization."

That generation really does deserve to be remembered for the quiet heroes they were.
