Hi,

Any information on losses this day is necessary to me. Fragments He111 are found, date is confirmed by documents of the Russian archive.

Found these on that day 9/KG27 He111 wn4526 40% following fighter attack (no details shown), II/KG53 wn3666 50% by Smolensk, He111 I/KG28 wn2623 on Heimat flight crashed in bad weather by Baraewicze (hard to read spelling may not be correct) B Oberstltn. Heckmann Gp.Kom. plus 2 killed, 2 wounded.

Leo, if I have spelt it correct it indicates domestic or non-operational flight shown as 'H' on Luftwaffe Loss returns, as opposed to a 'F' for Feindflug (operational flight).
