Tasks of X. Fliegerkorps, II. Fliegerkorps, and Höherer Jagdfliegerführer West
 

In my upcoming book, I am including a brief biography about a Luftwaffe officer who was assigned to the X. Fliegerkorps, the II. Fliegerkorps and Höherer Jagdfliegerführer West. I am hoping that some forum members can provide me with a one or two sentences regarding the area of responsibility for each of these three units for the specific time periods noted below:

X. Fliegerkorps: February - August 1942

II. Fliegerkorps: September 1942 - February 1943

Höherer Jagdfliegerführer West: February - September 1943

I am mainly interested in knowing what these units were tasked with for the time periods mentioned. As mentioned, a one or two sentence statement will suffice for each unit.
