Bruce or Doug?
 

Could someone identify which of the Canadian Warren twins claimed a V1 with 66 Sqn on 3/2/45? This claim gets a mention in '2nd TAF Vol 3' but not in 'Diver Diver Diver' nor under the entry for these pilots in 'Those
Other Eagles'. I'd also be interested in the a/c serial & codes-if known.

Hello Bruce,

Don't know if you meant the Chris Shores "2nd TAC" circa 1970 or the new volumes ?

Anyway, in the 1970 book it has on page 193 "On the 3rd February Flt/Lt. D. Warren of 66 Squadron shot down a V-1 while on patrol,"

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response. I meant the third volume of the recent series,
which names the pilot as F/L 'Duke' Warren; the nickname was applicable to both brothers, hence my query.
Given your info, it appears to have been Douglas Warren.
