Re: REVI 3B
Hi!
The swiss air force was using the Revi 3c (in the Bf 109 E-3a). But the 3b, i don't know. Here you can see photos of the 3c and 3d... http://www.cockpitinstrumente.de/ins.../revi/revi.htm |
Re: REVI 3B
The Revi 3 series was used in a variety of German aircraft during the 1935-1940 time period.
They were also used by the Swiss & Finnish Air Forces, including the Brewster Buffalo and Curtis Hawk series of aircraft. The Revi 3a & 3c are 12volt units, the Revi 3b & 3d are 24volt units. There is also a difference in the way the gunsight mount attaches to the sight between the 3a & 3c and 3b & d. The 3a & 3c attach at the front of the sight much like a Revi C/12D. The 3b & 3d attaches at the bottom of the sight like a Revi 16. Regards, Mike |
