Ju-88A4 "B3+EK"
I'm looking for details about Ju-88A4 "B3+EK" from I/KG 54 operating in Mediterranean region, 1943. I need especially crew names.
Thanks! |
Re: Ju-88A4 "B3+EK"
You'll have to give us a specific date since at least 2 Ju 88's B3+EK were lost in 1943.

Re: Ju-88A4 "B3+EK"
I could be really snarky as to your photo request, but no I don't have photos - what photos I have are the same published photos as everyone else might have. What I do have is the loss data as published by Radtke and contained in the Gen.Qu. reports. Odds are there were a number of other aircraft that wore these codes in the Med, but these are the only 2 machines that were reported in Lw losses with this particular code.

Re: Ju-88A4 "B3+EK"
I too have an interest in the picture of this particular airplane, since I'd like to use it for a news item (article). Caption says it was snapped in 1942 in Italy, so I think it is in the public domain by now, since the copyright law of that country says that photographs are protected for 20 years as a general rule or otherwise for 70 years after the author's death.
Does anybody know where and by who this pic was taken? http://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Ju-88/Ju-...ly-1942-01.jpg |
