Warsaw Uprising to name it correctly. Traditionally, at 5pm there were sirens all over the town. Apart of Polish soldiers, brave airmen of the Warsaw Airlift were involved in this 60 days plus battle. They were from all over the Commonwealth, SA and Poland.
I think Mr Spoden who is visiting the board was involved into the combats when with NJG6.

2 August, 1943 - a Hungarian long recce Ju 88D shot down a Yak-1 (certainly the most important event over the eastern front;) )
