airfield localocation

Can someone tell me where Fl.Pl. Plattling was? It is listed by JG 300 in the spring of 1945.

Re: airfield localocation

The town's right there on Google Earth, 25 km. SE Straubing (or "situated on the river Isar, 9 km southwest of Deggendorf, just before the river enters the Danube" according to Wikipedia). Haven't picked out an aerodrome (or ex-aerodrome) yet, though.

Re: airfield localocation

Hello!

It should be there: 48.798055 12.870942

That's 2km N of Plattling downtown. It is an industrial area now.
