Could anyone be kind enough to tell me in which unit(s) this model entered into service?

Earliest losses with an operational unit are KG 2 and KG 40 in the spring of 1941.

First op by KG 2 was mid-Jul 41; its first loss was a day or so after. Contact me if you are after anything more Do 217-wise as I have quite a bit photographically

iF the right model IN SHOW is the M, so first losses in June 43, for 3.Nachtaufkl.Staffel , in ops with III.KG2 on 13.june 43
First del. to units around march 43, tested during the autumn 42

There's four M's of 1.(F)/Aufkl.Gr. (Nacht) here.

After browsing Manfred Griehl's Do 217-317-417 :

Most M-1 went to KG 2
Most M-11 went to KG 100
EK36 ( later renamed Versuchsverband KG 200 ) owned K & M
4(F)/14 also flew M-1
Around January 45, Fernaufklärungsgruppe 3 ( 2(F)/100, 4(F)/121, 4(F)/11 ) had its lost Ju 188s replaced with a mixture of twelve Do 217 K & M.
