RAF/RCAF losses 5 August 1942
I'm looking for ANY information regarding Claude Lorraine Love, Jr. and the aircraft he flewn in. He was American flying with the RCAF. He was lost in action 5 August 1942 on a mine laying mission in the vicinity of St Nazaire.
TIA |

Hi,
The Bomber Command War Diaries only states that on 4/5 August 1942, 45 aircraft flew minelaying missions in the Frisians and off Brest, Lorient and St.-Nazaire with 2 Wellingtons lost. Not much help there. Sorry, Henry Weyers |
