Ju88 550907 and 301162 lost 13 june 1944
 

Hello,

I have for 13 june 1944 2 Ju88 of 8/KG26 lost over Seine Estuary, WNr 550907 (probably an A-17) and 301162 (probably an A-4 LT).
I have also names of 7 crewmembers lost (Roth, Kress, Gutschera, Koatz,
Erk, Müller, Ramoser).
Can someone tell me which crew goes with each plane and eventually codes of the two planes ?

For the previous ones sources seems clear , but these ones...

Hello !

the WNr were found a few years ago on a forum ; the thread was concerning
the destruction of the destroyer HMS BOADICEA night 12-13 june 1944 ; one of the participant was giving losses to KG26 and KG77 on 12, 13 and 14 june 1944 with corresponding Staffel and WNr. The informations concerning KG77 were true so I am inclined to think those concerning KG26 are also true ; KG26 have effectively lost 1 crew on 12 june and 2 on 13 june.

In fact the Wn given are very closed from Wn used by KG26

'Achtung-Torpedos Los!' by Rudi Schmidt lists the same crewmen for that date, but not much else.

550907 was 1H+FS and a A-17 with Roth, Kress, Gutschera, Kaatz.301162 was 1H+ES and a A-17 Erk, Müller, Walther & Ramoser
