Ju87 Stuka info needed W.Nr.5878

Hi guys,

I have a Ju87 Stuk relic, and on it is a hand-painted werk number. This number is W.N.r. 5878.

I was curious if anyone has information on this wreck?

WNr. 5878 was a Ju 87R-2 of the IV.(St)/LG 1 (part of Luftflotte 5). On 30.June 1941 the pilot, Ltn. Rolf Müller was WIA due to Flak, his Bordfunker Uffz. K. Köhlert was KIA at Litsa. The aircraft was a 100% loss.

was that unit stationed at Kirkines that time?
