Albert Dudszus/Alfred Dudssus
Hi
I have seen several sources stating that these are one and the same person, but I am thinking these are two! Ofw Alfred Dudssus gets a DKiG with 1./SG2 on 12th January 1943,, and I believe this guy claims Russian aircraft with 8./SG10 on 16th November 1944 and 11th December 1944, so possibly more later! Fw Albert Dudszus makes his first claim with 5./ZG26 on 9th April 1944, and his last as an Ofw on 20th June 1944.....four in total, all viermots. I have found a grave site for an Ofw Albert Dudszus born 17th September 1918 and died 21st June 1944, which ties in with the 5./Zg26 pilot. If this is our sub-Ace then there must be two guys, could anybody confirm Albert Dudszus's death on 21st June please? Grateful for any assistance Regards Johannes |
Re: Albert Dudszus/Alfred Dudssus
Ofw. Albert Dudszus, geb. 17.09.1918 Rudlauken, EM B65251/38, was killed on 21.06.1944 near Schönbeck/Friedland in Me 410, Wnr. 420631, 3U+DN, 5./ZG 26. His Bordfunker was killed too.
Uffz. Alfred Dudssus, 1./StG 2, and DKiG on 12.01.1943 seems indeed another guy. Cheers, John |

Thanks John
I think we can safely say that there are two pilots! Regards Johannes |
