Tracing a relative
I recently received 4 postcards that my dad, Charles Ira Hahn, B-17 Bombadier, sent to his mother, my grandmother from Kriegsgefangenenlager der Luftwaffe Nr. 3-- June-September 1944. His Gefangenenummer: 5699

Re: Tracing a relative
This might help you on your way, from google:
http://freepages.military.rootsweb.a...er/h_names.htm 1. You should also post the same request in the Allied section here, as that may elicit more responses. Also, those with a great interest in the 8th USAAF may be able to give you a lot more leads as to his final mission, and perhaps a veterans' association that you may be able to contact. Hope this helps. |

Good evening John & Kathy !
