Last photo in this set, showin gthe Heinkel behind camouflage netting, seems to have a unit badge just about the top the the engine nacelle... possibly KG55's 'Griffon'. Paul |

Any chance someone could decipher the note on the back of this Do17 photo? http://cgi.ebay.de/FOTO-FLUGZEUG-Get...#ht_500wt_1154 I'm looking for the location. I think it says "... nah der (den?) Schlacht bei Kilmo/Kilno." (... near the battle by ?Kilmo?) Where is this location, exactly? Given the date, presumably in Poland? And does anyone know if the unit mentioned is correct, KGzbV1?
