German salvage operations of Allied planes

Does anybody know if the Germans salvaged the Mustang flown by S/L H.P.Peters that crashed on November 5th 1943 in the Haringvliet in the Netherlands or where I can find such information?

Many Allied planes were salvaged for metals by the Germans. I found such reposts but fail to identify the German unit making such salvage operations and their possible records on the same.

In the mean time I found out that concentration camps were used for demolition and salvage of metals from planes. In the Netherlands, Camp Vucht had a special demolition section.

I haven't been able to trace the german units responsible for collecting the wrecks from their crash locations.
