2./JG3 and Stab/KG28 11 June 1940

Hi guys

I believe that Bf109s of 2./JG3 were escorting Do17s of Stab/KG28 on 11 June 1940 and were engaged by Hurricanes of 111 Squadron off Folkestone (or at least over the Channel).

Is it correct that two Bf109s and two Do17s were shot down?

According to Battle of France then and now by P. Cronwell 2 Bf 109 E-1 was shot down in battle with 111 SQN. First plane crash-landed north of Le Havre, pilot unhurt, second crashed on coast between Berneval-le-Grand and Belleville-sur-Mer, pilot Uffz. L. Uth killed.
Stab/KG 28 lost two Do 17 M on sortie to Le Havre. First was destroyed, second belly-landed but was repairable. No names mentioned, all crew were unhurt.
