F/Sgt George Tabor 603 Sqdn 1941.

I am trying to trace any family or pictures of Sgt George W Tabor.

He was with 152 squadron during the BofB.

He was with KIA on the 23.07.41 while serving as an F/Sgt with 603 Squadron.

Believe he was from the Essex area.

Thanks for looking

Danny

Danny

I don't know if David Ross visits this site but if he does then he is likely to be your best candidate for information on 603 Squadron pilots.

I do have his contact details and will let you have them.

Hello mate.

Thankyou for your message.

Was the Tabor farm family members of George. And the family name in Romford and Chigford.

It is a very strange surname.

Regards

Danny Burt.

Danny, as you say, the surname is not a common one.
I would suspect that they are related, but no idea how close (or not!)
There is an internet listing for Tabor Farm, Rochford and the head of the family is a local councillor I believe, although I only know of the farm by name.
Perhaps it's worth a phone call to see if they can clarify family connections and if they have more details?
