Arado 199 Questions
Hi,
Publications differ on the number of Ar 199 aircraft built (2, 3, more) and their use (trainers, patrol duties in Norway) and eventual fate (lost in combat, scrapped). Did they get to Norway, and were they lost there? Is there other history for the Ar 199? Can anyone set the record straight? Thank you, Steve |

Remains of one were recovered from Nth. Russia and is now in store in Canada. A bit of a sorry sight as it has been used for target practice by Lufwaffe fighters following the crash. Dave |
