KG 27 loss 23.02.42
I am having trouble finding the KG 27 books, so therefore I would like to ask the following:
Ogr. Martin Maner was Bordfunker in KG 27. His plane crashed february 23. 1942 in (I cannot read this) in Russia. I am searching informations on type of plane, codes and the rest of the crew. Any help would be more than welcome. Thanks in advance Christian |
Re: KG 27 loss 23.02.42

Re: KG 27 loss 23.02.42
Hi Scaba!
Thank You! Maybe it IS Mayer and not Maner.... I have his picture on a death card and it is written in gothic letters. I guess, this is an example, how much You should investigate before You can "close a case" If You have the time, could I ask about Your source and the rest of the crewmembers? Christian |
