Seeking records for Billy L. Williamson, SSG 38395787, 733 Bomb Squadron. Target was Frankfort au Main. B-24 was shot down around May 8, 1944, Billy who was a tail gunner parachuted and broke both hips on landing. He died as a POW on May 11, 1944. Did he die in hospital or in Stalag 9B at Bad-Orb.
