May I ask you, both experts on the Bf 110 and its Squadrons:
WHO was the pilot of S2+GA, from SG 77? And by the way..wish some of you bag this mervellous picture of the rudder...a very beautiful one indeed. Yours and thanks for the information on the pilot. Adriano |

Marc, That silhouette appears on several photos of early Bf 110s. Fernando and I have never been able to work out why it was applied to the engine cowling of some machines. It may have been some kind of in-flight distance indicator for formation flying. Other than that, I haven't a clue. |
