Stencils over german propeller blades
 

Hi all,
someone can explain me, please, the significance of the following numbers painted over two LW propeller blades?

a -- 9-30308.10 W Nrege 17781/2

b -- 9-30308.11 WNr 319490/2

In "a" 9-30308.10 = The prop blade's 5-digit construction group number. The dot 10 implies a minor variation of the design specific to an an aircraft, or aircraft series. WNrege is a composite for W Nr (works number) + the 3-letter maker's code "ege" is for Heine Propeller Works. This is followed by the part's 5-digit serial number plus the "slash 2" which may signify this was blade two of the assembly, or it may mean there were only two blades to this assembly.

In "b" the same information is recorded but what is interesting is the 6-digit works number. Unusual? Maybe but I don't know it for certain.
