day-by-day account of early RAF raids against the Reich based on Middlebrook and Chorley. Disappointingly little Luftwaffe content although the 18 December raid is covered in some detail with accounts from JG 77 pilots. As usual though with Roba he doesn't pull any punches if you're a Brit.. 'waste of time, waste of effort, huge losses for nothing, why did they bother' etc etc
