Need help with ZG26 Flugbuch
 

Hi all!

In Bergström's "Barbarossa" I found references to Johannes von Richthofen Flugbuch. Can anybody help me to receive entries concerning his ostfront missions (date, time, target etc.)? I need this information for work on book about ZG26 ostfront period.

According to a list of FBs from 2005, 2 Flugbücher of Johannes von Richthofen are in the collection of Walter Waiss/Traditionsverband Boelcke (TVB). Maybe someone on this forum can give you his/their email address(es).

ZG26 22/06/41 operations
 

More concrete question:
From KTB 5./ZG26 it is known that on 22/06/41 this Staffel attacked airfield Alytus (take-off at 2:55), airfields near Lunno (take-off at 8:35), airfields near Lida (take-off at 13:05) and again airfields near Lida (take-off at 17:05). Could anybody add when and what targets was attacked by others Staffeln ZG26 on 22/06/41 from logbooks entries?

Logbooks or Flugbuecher does not mention very often the target. It has entry for take off and landing times and airfields. Regarding the flight, there is just a type of mission mentioned, as Feindflug, Tiefflug etc. Maybe some airman writes notes and details of a mission. That is only chance I guess.

Every Feindflug in FB of SKG210 pilots has a comment about area, target type and victoryes. So, I suggest it was common.
