K.z.b.V 108

I understand that three front units (3./106, 1./906 and 3./906) handed over their He 59s (29 aircraft?) to this unit on or about 2 March 1940 (If anybody has the oreder number for this I would be most greatful!!). As I understand it, these units then were to take over He 115Bs. Were these replacement aircraft collected at the time the He 59s passed to K.z.b.V 108 or were they collected at a later date? Also, does anyone know where the front unit transported their 'requistioned' He 59s to and from where they collected their new He 115Bs?

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Adam

Staffel 3./106 was ordered to convert from He 59 to He 115 on March 2, 1940. The first three He 115s arrived from LZA (See) Travemünde on March 17, 1940. The units 11 He 59s passed on to K.G.z.b.V. 108. 3./106 commenced weapons training in Grossenbrode on April 10, 1940.

Staffel 1./906 operated a mixed collection of He 59, He 60 and He 114 when ordered to convert to He 115 on March 17, 1940. The first eight He 115s were collected at Luftpark Holtenau three days later. Its He 59s being passed on to K.G.z.b.V. 108.

Staffel 3./906 was ordered to convert from He 59 to He 115 on March 2, 1940, and on March 16, the first three He 115s departed LZA (See) Travemünde for Norderney on March 16. The units He 59s being passed on to K.G.z.b.V. 108. The Staffel commenced weapons training in Grossenbrode on April 6, 1940.

If collection of new aircraft were coordinated with delivery of He 59s to K.G.z.b.V. 108, is not known. I believe that this happened from time to time, but not always.
