Radial-engined He111G
 

Hi...

Is anyone out there able to provide me with a few pics of this rare creature, please, or point me in the right direction to somewhere on the internet that can do so?

As I understand it, there were only four He111Gs built, two of which were radial-engined, and possibly used by blind-flying training units. Any codes and/or markings would be appreciated, as would - especially - a side profile (photo or accurate drawing), showing the engine cowling's position in relation to the forward fuselage.

Thank you very much. The line drawing in particular was most interesting, although confusing at one and the same time. It seems to me that from the line drawing, that rendition of the aircraft has not only eliptical wings but also an extremely blunt and shorter nose, much more so to my eye that that of the Kastrup-based blind-flying trainer, the nose of which is apparently longer and slightly more pointed. And would I be right in assuming that the square (or slightly rectangular) outline on the left side of the fuselage behind the wingroot fairing on the line drawing is an additional window? (!)

I'd also be interested to know if the length of the nacelle forward of the wing leading edge is the same on both of the above-mentioned machines, as the cowlings seem not to line up at the same point in relation to the canopy, or is this an optical illusion with my ageing eyes?

I would be very grateful if anyone can answer these queries.
