Lt. Wolfgang Messner + 29.05.44
 

Hi,

Does anyone out there have any information regarding the loss of Wolfgang Messner (Stab JG27) on the 29.05.44. I believe that he had three victories, (1) B-17 on 12.05.44 (2) B-24 on 24.05.44 (3) B-24 on 29.05.44. Can anyone give me information regarding Messner's Bf 109G, Wnr etc and where he came down? When was he shot down, later in the day of the 29th or by return fire from B-24? Any information regarding this pilot would be greatly appreciated.

Location Erlauf N.Donau BF109G-6 440689 < 3+ -, 440689 comes from NVM , but I see also 440669 given born in Stuttgart Cannstadt 03.april 1922
